DAR™ heat and moisture exchangers (HME) minimize tracheolife 2 PDF
Description
The device includes a small collection chamber that allows sputum to deposit within normal physiological limits without affecting functionality. A central port allows suctioning and sampling to be performed without removing the device, helping maintain continuous humidification.
The heat and moisture exchange element is made from cellulose, with a specialised production process creating an active exchange surface of over 500 cm² for effective humidification of inspired gases.
DAR™ heat and moisture exchangers (HME) minimize heat and moisture loss from patient airways during anesthesia or respiratory care, assuring a proper climatization of inspired gases.
The DAR™ foam HME features an integrated extendable catheter mount for breathing circuits. The DAR™ adult-pediatric small HME includes a Luer lock fitting and a Luer lock cap for use during CO2 monitoring.
